A sip of Pinot
Villa del Monte 2009 Pinot Reserve Santa Cruz Mountains Regan Vineyard is this week’s Santa Cruz Sentinel Sip of the Week. Perfect timing since this wine just won a gold medal at the 2011 Dallas Morning News and TexSom Wine Competition. If you were at last week’s Pinot Paradise, you might have tasted it as we featured this wine at our table. This is 100% Pinot with flavors of spicy black pepper and cloves layered over warm red fruit jam that linger on your palate. Just lovely for a spring evening.
