Make plans to visit Villa del Monte Winery during The Summit Wineries Harvest Festival weekend! On October 6 and 7, The Summit Wineries*, a wine trail consisting of five wineries in the Summit Road vicinity in Los Gatos, will host special tastings in celebration of the 2012 harvest. We recently harvested Pinot, Syrah, and Cabernet, some of which will be fermenting in the winery next weekend, so be sure to ask if you can help us “punch down the cap” or taste some freshly-pressed juice.
We will be open from noon to 5 pm on both days. On Sunday, while tasting our award-winning wines, you can watch local Santa Cruz artist Caeli Perrelli at work painting pumpkins, sunflowers and other harvest themes. (Paintings will be for sale during the Harvest Festival.)
*Each winery’s tasting fee/policy applies. At Villa del Monte, tastings are $5 per person, refundable with purchase.
