It’s here–bottling day. Well, actually it’s bottling weekend. This is an exciting time at Villa del Monte Winery.
We are planning to bottle several new releases this weekend, including:
- 2012 Pinot Santa Cruz Mountains
- 2011 Syrah Santa Clara Valley
- 2011 Merlot Reserve Carneros
- 2011 Cabernet Reserve Santa Cruz Mountains
- 2010 Late Harvest Zinfandel Santa Clara Valley
Most of these wines will be ready for tasting later this year. We’ll be open for wine tasting next on August 31 and September 1 — come on by and we will share our bottling stats with you (number of cases, number of barrels, tasting notes). And, we’re sure to have a funny story or two to tell from the weekend.
