If you are not yet familiar with the wonderful local wineries and wine tasting opportunities in the Santa Cruz Mountains, you are in luck! July 16 is the next Santa Cruz Mountains Passport Day. Since 1993, the Santa Cruz Mountains Winegrowers Association has held Passport Days to introduce and to celebrate the Santa Cruz Mountains wine region. On the third Saturday of January, April, July and November, SCMWA passport holders can visit 50+ local wineries, all located within the Santa Cruz Mountains.
From noon to 5 pm on July 16, Villa del Monte winemakers, Neil and John, will welcome passport holders to our winery at 23076 Summit Road in Los Gatos. We will have a variety of wines for you to sample, with the focus being on grapes from our local Santa Cruz Mountains AVA.
