Villa del Monte Winery is located on Summit Road  in the Santa Cruz Mountains.  We are right along the ridge, midway between Los Gatos and Santa Cruz.

Our winemakers, John Overstreet and Neil Perrelli, work with several well-known local growers to select the best grapes possible each year for our single-varietal, single-vineyard wines.  Grapes also come from Cabernet and Pinot Noir vineyards that we manage in the Santa Cruz Mountains.

We use grapes from top Northern California appellations, primarily from American Viticultural Areas (AVAs) in Los Carneros (Napa County), the Santa Cruz Mountains, and Santa Clara Valley.

Hand-selected grape clusters are pressed and processed on site. Wine is aged in oak barrels in a forest-protected winery building, cooled by the Santa Cruz Mountains morning fog. 

We offer custom wine labels with a minimum order for your special occasion.

We are open for tastings on selected weekends.

Wine can be purchased through our Wine Club, at the winery, or online. Selected wines are also available at Rootstock Wine Bar in Los Gatos, Woodchuck BBQ in Redwood City, Birk’s Restaurant in Santa Clara, Summit Store in Los Gatos, Redwood Estates Store in Los Gatos, and Tessora’s Barra di Vino in Campbell.

Villa del Monte Winery is a member of the Santa Cruz Mountains Winegrowers Association and the Santa Cruz Area Chamber of Commerce.
